Not getting enough sleep makes you eat more food during the day. Scientists reckon people who snooze for only five hours tend to be heavier than those who get a decent night's sleep (BBC)

If you puncture your airbed how do you find the leak? First, make sure that the airbed is leaking. Stretching is a natural characteristic of new vinyl and the first few times you use the mattress, some stretching will occur suggesting that the mattress is losing air. It is simply stretching under your body weight and this is normal for the first few uses. To check the mattress for leaks, first make sure the plug and cap are secure. You can also put liquid soap and water in a squirt bottle and spray on. If there is a leak it will bubble. (Laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent will not work; they do not have the "bubbling" effect)

Had a call from a schools camp that had recently purchased an Intex Super Tough Airbed to test it's suitability for use at a camp for 400 children. I was informed that their test involved driving a 7.5 tonne truck over the inflated airbed. It lasted 3 runs and only burst due to a metal spike coming out from under the truck piercing the bed! Needless to say an order was placed for a few hundred Super Tough airbeds.
